Meet John Pope, a freelance cinematographer who's been shooting music videos, commercials, shorts, corporate and industrial spots professionally for over two years. Clients include VH1, MTV, Tooth and Nail Records, Stonekap Productions, Facedown Records, Milepost Productions...etc. Learning through hands on experience and devotion to the art, John continuously strives to push beyond his own boundaries.

Although John hasn't been shooting avant-garde movies since he was nine months old, like oceans of other filmmakers, he found that if someone genuinely loves their craft, has a great attitude and is willing to shed some blood, sweat and tears, it's possible to do anything a person sets their goals to.

Whether a project is a low budget or high-end production, it deserves a professional picture. This presents the opportunity to embrace a challenge, be creative and successfully execute a vision from script to screen within the client's budget. That's where John comes in with both guns blazing. When the camera isn't rolling, he professionally color corrects / grades music videos and commercial spots. This goes hand in hand with being a Director of Photography by enabling the original vision for the aesthetic to be maintained or enhanced.
